1. The object of the Society is the realization of the tasks of Caritas as an expression of life and essence of the Catholic Church through the operation of Catholic hospitals and other care and care facilities as well as participation in them. 2. The guidelines of the German Caritas Association for dealing with sexualised violence against minors and adults in need of protection or assistance by employees in the services and institutions of its branches and member organisations also apply. 4. The purpose of care facilities is to receive, care, nurture, care and provide pastoral care to persons who, because of their physical, mental and emotional condition, are dependent on the assistance of others. 5. The purposes of the company within the meaning of the Tax Code are: a. the promotion of public health and public health care; b. the promotion of science and research; c. the promotion of vocational training; d. the promotion of youth and elderly welfare; e. ecclesiastical purposes. 6. The purpose of the company shall be achieved in particular by: a. the operation of hospitals; b. the operation of outpatient care structures or the participation in them under company law and organization; c. the manufacture, supply and administration of medicines to outpatients; d. Preparation of expert opinions for insurance companies, pension providers and courts; f. university education and training and research; g. specialist training; h. sovereign basic and contract research, scientific events, as well as contract research and application observations; i.
