Goals
The mission of the Czech Chamber of Commerce is to support business activities outside agriculture, food, and forestry; to promote, protect, and represent the interests of the Czech business environment based on Act No. 301/1992 Coll., and to meet the needs of its members. The HK ČR is an independent organization that operates independently of political parties, state bodies, and local government bodies. Since 2004, it has been a mandatory commenting body for business legislation. The HK ČR consists of two components (regional and sectoral), through which it associates almost 15,000 members. The HK ČR is represented in the regions by 14 regional chambers of commerce and 44 district and regional chambers of commerce. The sectoral part of the Czech Chamber of Commerce consists of 130 trade associations. The Czech Chamber of Commerce disseminates knowledge and information about the economy, economic conditions, and legal regulations concerning business activities, as well as economic relations with foreign countries.
