Goals
Consulting agricultural stakeholders and implementing international development cooperation and international cooperation projects. We advise agricultural companies and state institutions (e.g., ministries) worldwide on all possible agricultural issues. More details here: www.iakleipzig.de We also carry out international projects, primarily for the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the European Union, the Asian Development Bank, etc.

EU Legislative Proposals
Within the framework of our projects, we support some accession candidates in preparing for accession with a focus on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Here, above all: a) Promotion of sustainability, environmental protection, and climate measures. b) Support for rural areas and promotion of regional development. c) Ensuring a fair standard of living for farmers. d) Income-preserving payments and market-related measures. e) Rural development measures (investments, infrastructure, ecological measures). e) Common Market Organizations (CMOs) to stabilize prices and markets. f) Promotion of investments in rural infrastructure, modernization, and generational change in agriculture. g) Integration of climate goals into national CAP strategic plans. h) Indicator-based monitoring of progress towards CAP objectives.

We support accession candidates in preparing for accession. To this end, we accompany delegations to Brussels to exchange ideas with EU decision-makers. We are currently working with the following ministries and countries:

- Western Balkan States: Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development in South Eastern Europe
