Tendon Repair Device using a Novel Biomaterial
| Abstract | This project addresses the next and critical step in a long process of bringing a novel biomaterial, developed at Xiros in Leeds, to market. The first new product to be made from it is a tendon repair implant, and the project involves design and development of the implant and pre-clinical testing. The proposed design incorporates not only a new biomaterial but a novel design, using manufacturing technology new to Xiros. |
