. The Assembly of Representatives of May 28, 2011 has decided to amend the Articles of Association in Sections 2 (Purpose and Subject matter) and Section 24 (3) (Composition and Election). New purpose: (1)The purpose of the cooperative is to promote the acquisition and economy of its members. (2) The company is concerned with the joint purchase, production of electricity and all related energy services, in particular the supply of members' household and businesses through environmentally sound and cost-conscious supplies of electricity and gas, as well as advising members on energy issues. The cooperative can also extend its business to the use of other environmentally sound forms of energy. (3) The cooperative may only supply electricity and gas to its customers which meet the environmental quality criteria set by greenpeace e. V.. Greenpeace e. V. is entitled at any time to allow the fulfilment of the above conditions by suitable experts at the expense of the cooperative. Sentences 1 and 2 apply accordingly to other environmentally sound forms of energy. (4) The name "Greenpeace" is protected worldwide. The Cooperative will acquire the power to use this name under a licensing agreement with Greenpeace e. V. or a company associated with it and entrusted with the granting of the licence. (5) The extension of business operations to non-members is permitted.
