The managing director of the society must belong to a church of evangelical confession, other employees may belong to another church, which is e. V. a member of the working group of Christian churches in the Federal Republic of Germany. At least one member of the Shareholders' Assembly must be appointed by a Church of the Confederation of Ev. churches in Lower Saxony or be pastor/pastor of one of these churches. The society is a member of the Deaconic Work of the Ev.-luth. State Church of Hanover and thus the Deaconic Work of the Ev. Church in Germany as a recognized leading Association of free welfare care.
