ROBust OLED (ROBOLED)
| Abstract | The current OTFT technology suitable for high volume manufacturing does not possess the performance uniformity or stability required for a commercially viable OLED product. This project is focused on understanding and overcoming the technical challenges of using organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) to drive OLED displays which are the “holy grail” of the $100 Billion global displays industry. This innovation will enable key solutions to facilitate the integration of OTFTs with OLED frontplanes. This project is highly innovative and will open doors to a wide range of applications such as tablets, smartphones, game consoles, smart displays and notebook PCs. |
