Toward Building Skills and Awareness in Embedded Digital Control of Power Electronic Systems

Abstract This project includes the creation of a curriculum framework and the development of learning resources based on industrial inputs, research, and current knowledge to boost the skills and knowledge in the area of embedded digital control of power electronics. To increase the awareness of this area, the project organising online seminars and in-person events for university graduates and industry professionals. The goal of the initiative is to fill skill gaps in this domain and allow university graduate students and professionals in PEMD to self-train. The project will • Develop a curriculum framework to boost skills and knowledge in this area as part of the project. • Create comprehensive as well as easy-to-understand learning resources that will fulfil industry needs. • Raise awareness of the power electronics industry by hosting events for university graduates and industry professionals, which will serve as a venue for engagement and fast networking with the industry. • Demonstrate the impact of the developed resources by training and supervising a group of volunteer students.
