CMC Development, Manufacturability and Repairability (CERCOMPUK)
| Abstract | The CERCOMPUK project aims to undertake a crucial and unique study aimed specifically at UK needs and capability in CMC materials technology. The work, undertaken by a consortium formed by the NCC, the MTC and AMRC, will cover material supply chain, lower cost alternatives, material processing, performance benchmarking, machining, inspection, manufacturing facility requirements and repair operations to provide industry with a full spectrum of information that has never been undertaken as a single, industry focussed study. |
