In addition, the company is a limited partner in LSI KG. The grain partner of LSI KG is Life Science Inkubator GmbH, Bonn ("LSI GmbH"). The LSJ KG itself is a research institution whose task is to take up research projects in the field of life sciences. The research projects included in LSI KG are to be supported in the first five years with public funding from the Federal Republic of Germany (BMBF) and the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MIWFT) in the order of approximately EUR 5 million per aforementioned sponsor.
