Promotion of science and research. The company intends to carry out the following projects initially: a. New construction and renovation of a school with outbuildings in the Likoma district of Malawi in the implementation period until the end of 2023 with a budget of up to EUR 250,000, b. Support of refugees from Ukraine with a budget of up to EUR 100,000 by providing housing, accompaniment to offices, legal advice, financing of language teaching and vocational training or studies, c. Promoting the development of molecular diagnostics in Africa with the Institut Pasteur in Dakar with a focus on haemorrhagic fevers with a budget of up to EUR 200,000, starting from 2024 (after expiry of the non-compete clause with Roche Diagnostics), through personal participation in the Institute (development, validation and training), financing of consumables and, where appropriate, equipment, and assistance with the conduct of studies. AIDS (HIV), malaria and tuberculosis are the biggest health problems in Africa. improving tuberculosis diagnostics in Africa; Continue to support APOPO (registered NGO) in Tanzania with a budget of up to EUR 100,000 by funding a scientific team that sets up molecular diagnostics on the ground and conducts a comparative study between rat sniffer testing (HeroRat) and Western laboratory diagnostics to validate, publish and then routinely implement the 'biological' method. The Company is entitled to carry out other similar or similar projects if these projects correspond to at least one of the listed charitable purposes. In exceptional cases, the Company may also pass on funds if this is necessary to achieve the purposes.
