Corporate purpose
The aim of the Foundation is to support people in Switzerland, to ensure their competitiveness in the labour market, so that the people of Switzerland who want to work are not excluded from the labour market because of their age or incorrect education and training, that the Swiss economy finds the necessary skills in Switzerland and thus has fewer reasons to move jobs abroad, so that mobility within Europe is promoted in this sense. The Foundation supports measures and projects that help people to remain actively active in the labour market for longer. It sees itself as a countermeasure to rising base unemployment and as a support for the social change brought about by the ageing of the population. These are in particular measures that help the unemployed to find their way back into the labour market through better use and development of personal skills, support people with life experience so that they can continuously optimise their value in the Swiss and international labour market, support companies that find suitable employees as a priority in Switzerland, support companies to find suitable employees internationally if the necessary skills are not available in Switzerland. These are services, market data and systems that show people what expertise and skills are sought on the market, which are the best training measures for maintaining and improving their personal labour market capacity. Furthermore, the Foundation sees itself as a link to associations, companies, social institutions and training providers, which support the objectives of the Foundation by supporting training providers by means of market data, adapting their offers to market development, advising social services and political institutions with appropriate means and services, so that social expenditure can be used more sustainably, by working closely with the institutions in the field of training and pension change. The Foundation can support recruitment activities and carry out their own activities.
