1) The purpose of the society is a. the promotion of youth care and youth welfare, b. promotion of education and upbringing, c. promotion of nature and environmental protection, d. help for the disabled, e. promotion of care for the elderly, f. promotion of welfare within the meaning of § 52 para. 2 no. 9 of the Tax Code in relation to homeless people and people threatened with homelessness, g. promotion of allotment gardening. It pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the section "Tax-privileged purposes" of the Tax Code. 2) The purpose of the statutes of the promotion of youth care and youth welfare is realised in particular in: - the development, design and implementation of educational aids, - the design of work-related offers, - the design of social space-oriented offers for the organisation of social coexistence, - the design of open offers (e.g. in youth leisure facilities) for children and young people, - the design of other offers (e.g. youth holiday trips) for children and young people, - projects to shape coexistence in the district in the area of charitable civic engagement, - the vocational qualification and social care of young people in need of help. 3) The purpose of the statutes of the promotion of education and upbringing is realised in particular in: - the implementation of musical, artistic and sporting activities for children, young people, adults and families, - the design of further projects for children and young people, in particular in the leisure sector, - offers within the meaning of the Child and Youth Welfare Act (2nd section: promotion of education in the family §§ 16 et seq.) for family and relationship counselling, to provide advice on questions of health care in the family and to provide advisory support in the perception of the interests of family members; the respective consultations are free of charge for those seeking advice. - district-related information, cultural and community work, - the design of offers within the meaning of the SGB Vlll to promote education in the family, - the work with and integration of socially disadvantaged groups, e.g. refugees, people with personal limitations or disabilities, but especially young people, - the operation of day-care centres and schools, - the implementation of further education and training offers for employees the SozDia gGmbH, the SozDia Foundation Berlin and other child and youth welfare agencies. 4) The purpose of the statutes of the promotion of welfare within the meaning of § 52 para. 2 no. 9 of the Fiscal Code in relation to homeless people and people threatened with homelessness is realised in particular by: - the provision of housing, - the elimination and mitigation of disadvantages and impairments that stand in the way of participation in life in the community by means of counselling, - the establishment of preventive assistance measures, which can prevent impoverishment and homelessness, - the offer of assistance to socially disadvantaged people, whereby the measures can help them to cope with other impairments, such as long unemployment, lack of educational opportunities, illness, old age, social isolation, addiction and disabilities. 5) The statutory purpose of assistance for the disabled is realised in particular in: - the training and employment of people with disabilities in the form of integration projects within the meaning of § 68 No. 3c of the Tax Code. 6) The purpose of the statutes, the care of senior citizens, is realized in particular in: - the operation of meeting places and the creation of offers specifically for older people, whereby it is a special goal of the society to promote contact between children and older people. 7) The purpose of the statutes of the promotion of nature and environmental protection is realized in particular in: - the implementation of events and offers as well as through information and education on the subject of environmental protection and related ecological topics, - the promotion of environmental awareness and environmental education (especially of children) through ecological farming, - communication and the exchange of experience on gardening and environmental topics. 8) The purpose of the statutes, the promotion of allotment gardening, is realised in particular in: - the allotment gardening and in intercultural exchange about the cultivated plants. 9) In implementing the purposes of the statutes, the society is concerned with developing a culture on the basis of Protestant diaconal work with children, young people, families and senior citizens and their social environment, which enables them/all to learn to live within the social community and to shape the future. 10) The work of the society has grown out of the tradition of Protestant youth work. The society sees its activities as part of Protestant youth work. 11) In pursuing its purpose, the company will take into account the objectives and the character of the group of companies of the SozDia Foundation Berlin.
