Corporate purpose
The company pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the section "tax-privileged purposes" of the tax code. The Association is the promotion of the general public in the field of education, training and further education within the meaning of § 52 Abs. 2 Satz 1 Nr. 7 der Abgabenordnung. The purpose of the statutes is achieved in particular by: a) The development, production, implementation and evaluation of tests as well as test and certification procedures for lifelong learning in schools, vocational training, further education and universities in Germany, Europe and outside Europe. This includes, in particular, the further education and training of teachers and examiners and the evaluation and certification of examinations. b) The development, production and publication of preparatory and test-accompanying materials and textbooks, especially in the field of languages. c) Measures of education, training and further education, in particular in the field of languages (e.g. lectures, courses, other events) insofar as there is no direct link to tests and examinations. In particular, the society takes into account the interests of its shareholder, the regional associations of adult education centres and their members as institutions of public further education. However, not all purpose measures have to be pursued every year and generally not all measures have to be pursued with the same intensity. If possible, all the aforementioned measures can be offered as a face-to-face event, online or for download from the Internet. (4) Further purpose of the company is the transfer of funds in favor of its sole shareholder, the German Adult Education Association e.V. in Bonn, as long as this is tax-privileged due to non-profit status, for the use for the promotion of the general public in the field of education, training and further education within the meaning of § 52 para. 2 sentence 1 no. 7 AO (funding activity according to § 58 no. 1 AO).
